The road to success is not always the same for everyone. I suppose that I have not chosen the easiest and shortest one.
When I started Kennel Caratoots my goal was to some day have one of the most winning papillons in
Sweden!
Year 1984
- When everything started
In 1984 I acquired my first papillon. There was a lady in my hometown
breeding papillons, Anita Forsberg at Kennel Carovers, and I had seen some of
her papillons at the local kennel club. Anita was kind enough to let me have
one of her bitches, Carovers Tootsie, and that is how it all got started. Year 1985
- Another papillon
I was totally infatuated with my bitch, and wanted more than one papillon.
I returned to Anita Forsberg, and she sold me yet another one of her breedings,
this time a male, Carovers Uppe. Year 1986
- Yet another papillon
As if I could not get enough, I had to have yet another papillon. Once
again I returned to Kennel Carovers and got one more dog, Carovers Yankee
Fred. Year 1987
- Kennel Caratoots registered
In 1987 I acquired a white and black bitch from Kennel Wåranz, Wåranz
Carawicchie. My kennel name was registered with the Swedish Kennel Club in
1987, and my
kennel name Caratoots has its origin in the name of my two first bitches, Wåranz
Carawicchie and Carovers Tootsie. Year 1989
- First litter
In 1989 I had my first litter of papillons. My foundation bitch Carovers
Tootsie had been mated to Ch Pepejas Big Fighter and produced an offspring
that would really kick-off my breeding program. Caratoots Great Expectation
was really stunning, and later did great in the show rings. Unfortunately the
show database of the Swedish Kennel Club only contains data from year 1993 and
onwards, and I do not have any notes myself of the show results previous to
this year. In order to give me more opportunities in my breeding program I
acquired yet another male, this time the dog Smaragdens Private Property. Year 1990
- Second litter
During year 1990 I once again mated Caratoots Tootsie, this time with
Pepejas Fighting Spirit. The result was a bitch named Caratoots Straight The
Pose. Year 1991
- First Champion
My bitch Wåranz Carawicchie received her final CAC, and became Swedish
Champion.
In 1991 one of my champion dogs mated a bitch (from Kennel Chagall), at Kennel
Chipman. One of the puppies, Chipmans Like A Great Expectation, caught my attention, and I bought her directly.
Earlier in the year I had used Ch Chagalls Lamborghini on two of my bitches,
Carovers Tootsie and Ch Wåranz Carawicchie. Both of them produced a puppy
each, Caratoots Fame and Fortune and Caratoots Excellent Choice. Year 1992
- Breeding program starts
1992 was the year that my breeding program really took off. I had now
acquired enough bitches to start a serious breeding program. Ch Caratoots
Great Expectation mated my bitches Carovers Tootsie and Carovers Urbinette.
The result was two offspring each (Caratoots Look Another Expectation,
Caratoots Limited Edition, Caratoots Count Christopher and Caratoots Contessa
Cassandra). At the end of the year my coming star Chipmans Like a Great Expectation gave birth to four great puppies, Caratoots
Coronation Commander, Caratoots Creamy Candyman, Caratoots Cacharel Caramelle
and Caratoots Chanice Chandelle. They were all sired by my latest acquisition
Chipmans Ringo Star. During 1992 Ch Wåranz Caratwicchie moved to the USA,
and became American Champion within short. Year 1993
- Birthday litter of five
The Swedish Kennel Club has got show result records available on the
internet from year 1993 and onwards. So it is only from this year on I can
publish the show results of Caratoots.

As the breeding combination I made in year 1992 was so successful, I
decided to repeat the combination. Chipmans Like A Great Expectation was
once again mated with Chipmans Ringo Star, and this time produced a litter of
five. Caratoots Convince Chantalle, Caratoots Consider Courus, Caratoots
Censor Comet, Caratoots Continental Cosmos and Caratoots Create Clarissa saw
the first light on my own birthday June 12, what a great birthday gift. Caratoots Convince Chantalle and her brother Caratoots Consider Courus were to
remain in my kennel for my future breeding program.
Year 1994
- Two new champions
Chipmans Like A Great Expectation grew up at
Kennel Caratoots to be a noble bitch. She was very successful receiving three
BOB, two BOS, her Swedish Championship title and ended as Top Winning
Bitch of Sweden 1994. She was also awarded the title Swedish Winner 1994 at
the SKK International Dog Show in Stockholm. Worth mentioning is that during the summer of
1994 Ch Caratoots Coronation Commander received his
champion title in only tree shows. He also became BOB at Laholm International Dog Show.
1994 was as you
realize an important year for my kennel.

Year 1995
- Show success at Specialty
This was the year when Ch Chipmans Like A Great Expectation added the Norwegian
Championship to her titles. Kennel Caratoots won BIS-3 with a progeny group after her at the Gothenburg
International Dog Show, while she herself became BOB. The breeder group from Kennel
Caratoots was awarded Best Breeder Group at the same show.
At the Swedish Papillon Specialty 1995 of western Sweden, Caratoots had further success. Four out of five best
bitches and two out of five dogs came from my kennel. Caratoots Convince Chantalle was
awarded BOB, and her brother Ch Caratoots Coronation Commander ended up as BOS. My
breeder group was once more awarded Best Breeder Group.

Caratoots Convince Chantalle was breed in 1995 to Ch Chagalls Amadeuz, and
gave birth to a bitch puppy, Caratoots Classic Confidence.
Year 1996
- Mindie goes to Denmark
1996 was a sabbatical year for me when it comes to dogs. Due to different reasons
I did not compete very much in the show rings and I did not do any breeding.
Ch Chipmans Like A Great Expectation, also called Mindie, was sold to Marianne
Hansen of Kennel Toymaker in Denmark, where she quickly got her
Danish Championship. After that she has also become Polish and International Champion, Top Winning Bitch of
Denmark 1996, and Danish Club Champion. Today she is titled Multi Champion.
Year 1997
- First website of Caratoots
In the summer of 1997 I started showing dogs again, and at the SKK Visby
Summer Show Caratoots Convince Chantalle won her two remaining certificates
needed for her Swedish Championship.

Kennel Caratoots was one of the first papillon breeders in Sweden to
establish a website on the internet. Our first website, quite different
looking to the present one, saw the light of day in 1997, and has since then
been one of the most visited papillon websites in the world.
Year 1998
- International and Danish Champion
In 1998 I and Peter went to Portugal and showed Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle.
Gizmo, as we call her, was awarded BOB and an
International certificate. Later the same year, when showed
in Denmark, she got a Danish certificate and another International certificate. This
made her an International Champion as well as Danish and Swedish Champion.

Caratoots Crowned Companion was born in February, after mating Ch Carovers
Ego Sun to Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle.
Year 1999
- Five American exports
Due to breeding of our bitches, we did not compete in the show rings during
1999. Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle had two litters sired by the Danish Ch
Toymakers Better Be Good. Three of the offspring, Caratoots Captain
Courageous, Caratoots Confident Crusader and Caratoots Classic Creation were
exported to the
USA. Caratoots Captivating Conqueror was kept in my kennel for future use. Caratoots Crowned Companion,
born in 1998 also moved to USA during this year. I imported a Danish bitch, Pepstars Primadonna,
which was mated
to Caratoots Consider Courus. The breeding resulted in the male puppy Caratoots Craving Competition.
Ruwi, as he was called, moved to an American family living in Slovenia and later on
moved back with them to the USA.
Year 2000
- First American imports
The only dog we showed this year was Caratoots Captivating Conqueror, with
one BOS and two CAC he was moving on well toward his Swedish Championship. The
bitches were out of coat due to having had puppies, so they were not attending
any dog shows this year. Ch Caratoots Crowned Companion now living with the
Ford family of Kennel Forevr Papillons in Pennsylvania USA got her American Championship
title in year 2000.

After summer Vittorias Avec delivered Caratoots Crystal Charm, sired by
Toymakers French Connection. Shortly after that Ch Caratoots Convince
Chantalle gave birth to a litter of two, sired by Ch Silenzios Frank Sinatra.
The bitch, Caratoots Complete Charisma remained with us for future breeding
and dog shows, while the dog Caratoots Count Christopher was planned to move
to a new home in the USA as soon as he was old enough. In order to increase our breeding-stock, I
imported a dog, Forevr Hooked On
A Feeling, and a bitch, Forevr A Pretty Package, from the Kennel Forevr Papillons in the USA. The first
American papillons ever to come to Sweden! Year 2001
- Home coming king goes BISS
During spring 2001, Caratoots Count Christopher, moved
to the USA to live in Iowa at Kennel Zelicaon. Half a year later he had achieved enough points to become an American Champion.
Caratoots Captain Courageous, previously exported to Mrs Karen Byrd
of Kennel Silkwings in the USA, came
back temporary for a few months to Sweden to be used in our breeding program and
compete in the show rings. He was placed seven times during his short
stay in Sweden, and out of those he was BOB four times. He received three CAC,
two CACIB and one R-CACIB. Quite an accomplishment in such short time. Ch Caratoots Captivating Conqueror earned his Swedish
Championship title in May, followed by his brother Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous in July. The mother of these two
fine gentlemen,
Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle, was also awarded BIS Veteran in
May at the Swedish Toy Dog Club show. The Swedish National Breed Specialty 2001 was a great success for
Kennel Caratoots. Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous won the show, hence becoming
BISS, Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle
became BOB-veteran, and her littermate Caratoots Consider Courus BOS-veteran.
Ch Caratoots Complete Charisma was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of
Winners, and finally Kennel Caratoots became the Best Breeders Group. Caratoots Complete Charisma started her show career this year. Being placed
sixteen times, with one BOB and one BOS, and getting four CAC, we knew she was
heading for something great.

In 2001 Kennel Caratoots had two litters of puppies. Pepstars
Primadonna was mated to Reginas Neil Young and produced one puppy,
Caratoots Courageous Cliffhanger.
During summer Forevr A Pretty Package gave birth two to puppies,
Caratoots Celestial Choice and Caratoots Certain Challenge.
The puppies was sired by Caratoots Consider Courus. Year 2002
- First Russian exports
Ch Caratoots Complete Charisma was awarded fourteen CAC and eight CACIB during 2002.
Not only did she become BOB five times and BOS three times, but she
also was awarded Bridge Winner
in Denmark and Nordic Winner in Norway. In Gibraltar she gained her Gibraltar Champion title. This was
followed by the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Nordic Champion titles during fall 2002. My phalène Caratoots Celestial Choice entered her first official show in mid May 2002. She
got all the
CAC's she needed for
her Swedish and Danish Champion title (actually even more than needed; 5), but had to wait for the championship age limit (2 years of age) to receive the titles.
Apart from that she become Bridge Winner 2002 in Denmark, and Gibraltar Junior Champion. She
was one of the top winning phalène bitches in Sweden.
The year 2002 was also a good year for my veteran Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle. She
became BIS Veteran at several shows during
the year, and was the second Best Veteran of the year in Sweden.

In the beginning of 2002 Caratoots had an outstanding litter of four puppies
(sire Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous, dam Forevr A Pretty
Package). The three dogs Caratoots Classy Centerfold, Caratoots Charlemagne's Crown and Caratoots Continental Cruiser moved to USA. The bitch Caratoots Classic Confidence I kept
myself for my future breeding programme. Caratoots Classy Centerfold, now
living with Graeme and Elaine Daws of Kennel Kalisse in Washington USA got his Canadian Champion title at the end of 2002. Later during the year two more litters were born; Caratoots
Charming Camelia and Caratoots Countess Cornelia (sire
Caratoots Consider Courus and dam Pepstars Primadonna), Caratoots
Celestial Coronation and Caratoots Cosmic Commander (sire Reginas
Neil Young and dam Caratoots Crystal Charm). To improve my breeding of
phalènes, I during 2002 imported the Multi Champion Safikas Asterix
from Denmark. Caratoots Celestial Choice was mated to Ch Safikas
Asterix, and produced a litter of two, Caratoots Cardinal Choice and
Caratoots Confidential Choice. I am proud to say that Kennel Caratoots has been the first Swedish kennel to export papillons to Russia. During 2002 I exported
Caratoots Countess Cornelia and Caratoots Cosmic Commander to Maria Gorelova
in Moscow. Cornelia today is Russian, Lithuanian and Moldovan Junior Champion,
and Cosmos is Multi, International, Russian, Moldovan, Lithuanian, Latvian,
Belarus and Ukrainian Champion. Two bitches, Caratoots Charming Camelia and Caratoots Celestial
Coronation found new homes in Georgia and Texas, USA. Year 2003
- Top Winning Bitch
The year 2003 started very well for me. Caratoots Classic Confidence took the BOS and
CAC at the first show of the year.
Ch Caratoots
Complete Charisma took 2nd place and the CACIB. On the second show of the year, Charisma became Best Bitch and BOS.
As the show was an international show, she was awarded the last CACIB she needed to become an International Champion. The
year continued very fortunate for Charisma as she became BOB and BIG-2 at the
SKK show in Hässelby, and BOB and BIS at the Swedish Papillon
Specialty (BISS). She also became Nordic Winner at the Stockholm International Dog Show 2003, and as if this was not enough, the Top Winning Bitch of Sweden 2003. Although Caratoots Classic Confidence was only shown a few times during 2003, she managed to become BOB
three times and take seven CAC. Due to this she became the 2nd Top
Winning Bitch of Sweden in 2003. Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle, ten years old, still gave the competitors a hard time in the ring during 2003. With several
BOB Veteran, BIG Veteran and BIS Veteran placements during the year, she became the
2nd Top Winning Veteran in Sweden 2003. Our American import Forevr A Pretty Package got her first
CAC, on a Swedish Winner show. Caratoots Confidential Choice became BOB Puppy at
the Swedish Phalène Specialty, and my American export Ch Caratoots Classy Centerfold
got his American and International Champion titles and placed himself among the Top 20
Top Winning
Papillons of USA during 2003. Also his brother, Ch Charlemagne's Crown living
with Mrs Sally Bacus in Texas USA got the titles American and International Champion during 2003.

Two litters were born within Kennel Caratoots this year. Our
phalène Caratoots Celestial Choice was mated to phalène Ch Molargårdens
Dalton, and gave birth to three wonderful phalène puppies that later
during the year were exported to the USA; Caratoots Creamy
Caramelle, Caratoots Charles'n Charge and Caratoots Creamy Candyman. In mid December
Caratoots Classic Confidence delivered an exquisite litter of papillons,
Caratoots Classic Challenge, Caratoots Classic Commander and Caratoots Crème
de Cacao. The sire used was Ch Silenzios Frank Sinatra. Year 2004
- Top Winning Bitch again
Year 2004 was a great show year; our bitches conquered the top three positions of
Top Winning Papillon Bitches in Sweden, and our
grand old lady kept her position as the 2nd Top Winning Papillon Veteran. Ch
Caratoots Classic Confidence was placed thirteen times, won four BOB and five
BOS, was placed as BIG and BIS-2 at the Swedish Toy Dog Club National Dog Show in Helsingborg, became
Swedish Champion and was awarded the title Swedish Winner 2004 by
Danish judge Mrs Kitty Sjong at the SKK International Dog Show in Stockholm. Ch
Caratoots Complete Charisma was placed fourteen times this year, and took
three BOB, one BOS and became BIG-4 at the Swedish Toy Dog Club in Karlstad.
Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous was temporary back in Sweden from Atlanta USA
for the second time to be used in my breeding. He was only here for a limited
period during fall when there are not that many dog shows to attend, but still
got placed twice, one of them as BOS. Our phalène
Ch Caratoots Celestial Choice became Swedish, Danish and Gibraltar Jr
Champion, moved to the USA and became American Champion in only 6 shows. Our American import,
Ch Forevr A Pretty Package took three BOB, one BOS, one CAC, two CACIB, and received her
Swedish Championship title at a the SKK International Dog Show in Avesta where she became
BIS-2 for Argentinean judge Mr Carlos Saevich. My veteran Ch Caratoots
Convince Chantalle really challenged the other veterans this year, when she
became BOB Veteran eight times and BOS Veteran once. Caratoots Classic
Commander started his show career, and was placed twice at the end of the
year.

We exported two of the puppies born end of year 2003, Caratoots Classic
Challenge and Caratoots Crème de Cacao, to show homes in the USA.
Caratoots Cardinal Choice had one puppy sired by Ch Caratoots Classic
Commander, which also went to new owners in the USA, Caratoots Classic Choice. To improve our breeding we
imported an American bitch, Deannas Double Diamond, and temporary borrowed
Ch Caratoots
Captain Courageous from Mrs Karen Byrd in Atlanta USA. Deannas Double Diamond
was mated with Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous and gave birth to two bitches.
We kept Caratoots Charming Cassandra for our future breeding, while Caratoots
Countess Caronessa found a new home in Stockholm. Our website, started
in 1997, surpassed 100.000 visitors during 2004! Year 2005
- 24 BOB Veteran's
Kennel Caratoots breed and owned 4 of the 20 Top Winning Papillons of
Sweden 2005. We were awarded eighteen BOB and sixteen BOS in 2005. Our veteran Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle (born in 1993) was awarded 24 BOB Veteran during
the year, and became Swedish Winner 2005 at the SKK International Dog Show in Stockholm.
Kennel Caratoots became the No 1 Top Winning Breeder of papillons in Sweden! Ch
Caratoots Classic Confidence was placed 27 times this year, won fifteen BOB,
six BOS, one CAC, eleven CACIB, two BIG-1 and three BIG-5. She also received
her Norwegian Championship in the beginning of the year. Ch Caratoots Complete
Charisma was placed fourteen times during the year. Caratoots Classic
Commander really hit if off in the show rings. Not two years of age, he still
was placed nineteen times, won three BOB, eight BOS, fifteen CAC, seven CACIB
and one BIG-4. Caratoots Compassionate Casanova was born on January 1, and
started to enter the show rings in October. He was placed three times, and won
two CAC. When Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous was back in Sweden from
Atlanta USA end of year 2004, he was mated to a bitch at Kennel Pearl
Collection, Pearl Collection Kristall. I totally fell in love with one of the
bitch puppies, and Mrs Harriet Boijertz was kind enough to let us buy her,
Pearl Collection Pärlemo. Jessie, as we call her, started her show career
towards the end of the year, was placed twice and got two CAC. At the SKK
International Dog Show in Stockholm mid December, she was awarded Bitch Junior
Winner. Ch Caratoots Classic Challenge living in
Wisconsin USA with Jane and Charles Lohmeyer, received her American
Championship after superb results in the American show rings.

This year we had exceptionally many litters, four to be exact. We usually only
have a small breeding, in average two litters per year. However with one litter
in the very beginning, two in the middle and one in the very end of the year,
the number of litters increased this year. Ch Forevr A Pretty Package had two
litters, one with Ch Caratoots Captain Courageous who was temporary back in Sweden
from the USA in 2004 (Caratoots Compassionate Casanova, Caratoots Crowned
Cegovia and Caratoots Coco Chanel) and one with Caratoots Classic Commander
(Caratoots Compassionate Companion, Caratoots Charming Celebrity, Caratoots
Classic Competition and Caratoots Complete Checkmate). Deannas
Double Diamond was also mated with Caratoots Classic Commander and gave
birth to three puppies (Caratoots Commanders Choice, Caratoots Charging Commander
and Caratoots Carbon Copy). In December Ch Caratoots Classic Confidence gave birth to
four puppies, sired by Bijhoffs Romeo (Caratoots Complete Coronation, Caratoots
Classic Cameron, Caratoots Constant Charmer and Caratoots Confident Collin). We kept
three puppies for our future breeding;
Caratoots Compassionate Casanova, Caratoots Complete Coronation and Caratoots
Classic Cameron. Four of the puppies were exported; two to the USA, one to Belgium
and the final one to Latvia. Year 2006
- 6 out of 20 Top Winning Papillons
In 2006 Kennel Caratoots really dominated the top lists in Sweden. Out of
the 20 Top Winning Papillons of Sweden 2006, six were breed and owned by me.
Ch Caratoots Convince Chantalle, now thirteen years old was still going strong
in the show rings. She was placed eleven times, won one BOB, one BOS, eleven
BOB Veteran and one BIG-4 Veteran. Kennel Caratoots was once again the No 1
Top Winning Breeder. In June 2006 Ch Caratoots Classy Centerfold returned to the house of
Caratoots to compete in the show rings and be used in breeding.
"Jazz" who usually lives with Graeme and Elaine Daws in Washington
USA, was in
Sweden with us for a limited period during 2006. In less then
four months he in addition to his International, American and Canadian
titles, received his championship titles in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and
Finland. He was placed twenty times, with eleven BOB, two BOS, four CAC,
eight CACIB and four R-CACIB.. Apart from two BIG-1, one BIG-4 and one BIS-3, he was also awarded the
titles Norwegian Winner 2006, Copenhagen Winner 2006 and Swedish Winner 2006. Ch
Caratoots Classic Commander gathered four championship titles this year;
Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Nordic Champion. He was placed fifteen times,
won three BOB, three BOS, two CAC, four CACIB and three R-CACIB. All these
winning gave him the position as No 3 Top Winning Dog of the year. Caratoots
Compassionate Casanova continued his second year in the show rings, and was
placed nine times, won one BOB, three CAC and one BIG-5. Ch Caratoots Complete
Charisma was placed ten times, won two BOB, one BOS, two CACIB, one R-CACIB
and one BIG-5, while Caratoots Complete Coronation kicked off his show career
ten months old in October with three placements and one CAC. Pearl
Collection Pärlemo was placed seventeen times, won five BOS, seven CAC and
six CACIB during the year - not bad for a young girl just starting to compete
in the show rings.

The two litters of the year were born just one day after the other. Ch Caratoots Classic Confidence had been mated
to
Ch Carovers Jagger, and gave
birth to three puppies (Caratoots Certain Capability, Caratoots Center Court and
Caratoots Cute Carla), out of which we kept a bitch for our future breeding -
Caratoots Certain Capability. The following day Caratoots Charming Cassandra
gave birth to six puppies (Caratoots Captains Choice, Caratoots Comely
Contender, Caratoots Comtesse Coquette, Caratoots Confiding Companion,
Caratoots Clear Crystal and Caratoots Classic Creation). All of these puppies were sired by Caratoots Compassionate
Casanova. Four of the puppies were exported; one to the USA, one to Norway and
two to
Denmark. Year 2007
- Both Top Winning Dog and Bitch
This year has so far been the best year ever for Kennel Caratoots. I am the proud
owner of
both the Top Winning Bitch 2007 and the Top Winning Dog 2007 in Sweden. Out of
the 20 Top Winning Papillons of Sweden 2007, seven belong to me. I am now the
No 1 Top Winning Breeder of Papillons in Sweden for the third year in a row.
During the year my dogs have achieved eighteen BOB and sixteen BOS. In total they been
awarded twenty-four CAC, sixteen CACIB, eight R-CACIB and eleven new champion titles. Ch Caratoots Classic Commander was
awarded the title Swedish Winner 2007 at the SKK International Dog Show in
Österbybruk, and Ch Caratoots Classic Confidence the title Nordic Winner 2007
at the SKK International Dog Show in Stockholm (beating 91 papillons!). Ch Caratoots Classic Commander has really fulfilled my
expectations and hopes for this year. He became the No 1 Top Winning Papillon
of Sweden, Swedish Winner 2007, got his Finnish and International Championship
titles, was placed twenty times, won nine BOB, two BOS, one CAC, six CACIB,
two R-CACIB. At the SKK International Dog Show in Ronneby he was awarded BIG-1
and BIS-2. Ch Caratoots Classic Confidence became the No 1 Top Winning Bitch
and Nordic Winner 2007. She was placed seventeen times, won four BOB, eight BOS, one CAC,
six
CACIB, one R-CACIB. At the Finnish Kennel Club International Dog Show in
Eckerö she received her Finnish and International Championship. She was also
five times awarded Best Progeny Class, one of them even BIS-1. Ch Caratoots
Compassionate Casanova was made Swedish Champion at the SKK National Dog Show
in Norrköping by judge Bengt-Åke Bogren. In total he was placed thirteen times
during the year. Caratoots Complete Coronation also did extremely well this
year, with twenty-one placements, two BOB, three BOS, ten CAC, two CACIB and two
R-CACIB - way to go Cosby! Caratoots Certain Capability, born mid 2006, is our
new up coming star. She has already been placed thirteen times this year, won
two BOB, two BOS, seven CAC. At the Swedish Papillon Specialty in Stockholm,
she was awarded BIS Junior by judge Sonja Björklund. Ch Caratoots Convince
Chantalle, my grand old lady of fourteen years of age, became No 2 Top Winning
Veteran once again with ten BOB Veteran, one BOS Veteran, one BIS-3 Veteran
and BISS at the Papillon Specialty. She was also placed nine times during the year, despite her age - not
bad I'd say! Ch Caratoots Complete Charisma has not been attending the show
rings that much this year, but when she has been shown she has done quite well
with three placings and one CACIB. Ch
Caratoots Crème de Cacao, living with Shay and Joe Pask Van in Texas USA, did
really well in the American show rings and got her American Championship title
in September. In April Ch Pearl Collection Pärlemo got the final CAC's she
needed for her titles, and became Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian and
Nordic Champion. She was placed nine times, got two CAC, one CACIB and three
R-CACIB. Caratoots Center Court was sold to Telse Daetz Beck in Denmark in
2006. Telse has done a great job with him, showing him to a No 5 Top Winning
Dog of Denmark 2007 position. With several BOB Puppy awards, three placings
and two CAC, he is heading for his Danish Championship.

We have had five litters of puppies this year. Both Deannas Double Diamond
and her daughter Caratoots Charming Cassandra were mated with Ch Caratoots
Classy Centerfold during his visit to Sweden in 2006, and both of them gave birth to
four great puppies each in the beginning of the year (Caratoots Cruising
Cadillac, Caratoots Cup Cake, Caratoots Cotton Candy and Caratoots Classic
Charm; Caratoots Curt Cobain, Caratoots Cut The Crap, Caratoots Chocolate
Chip and Caratoots Commander In Chief). During fall Caratoots Charming
Cassandra gave birth to five lovely puppies, sired by Ch Caratoots Classic
Commander (Caratoots Checkpoint Charlie, Caratoots Cool Cliffhanger, Caratoots
Cream Cracker, Caratoots Copa Cabana and Caratoots Classic Covergirl). A week
later our American import Ch Forevr A Pretty Package delivered three gorgeous
puppies (Caratoots Commander in Chief, Caratoots Classic Commitment and
Caratoots Cheese Cake). The sire of this litter was Bijoffs Romeo. Early in
the morning of Lucia Day in December our Ch Pearl Collection Pärlemo produced
her first litter (Caratoots Complete Collection, Caratoots Cool Contender, Caratoots
Clean Cut and Caratoots Classic Collection). They had been sired by our Caratoots Complete
Coronation.
